(More customer reviews)The first half of the book is an very good resource in helping you to learn some of the in's and out's of NIS+. The only problem I have with the first half is the fact that it is slanted for use in an existing NIS network. The last half consists of step by step procedures in setting up NIS+ and administrative tips for NIS+. These would be great, except for the simple fact that some of the commands listed in the setup portion simply do not work. The book is up to date if you are running Solaris 2.3 thru 2.5, but not for 2.6 or Solaris 7. The book needs another revision.
