(More customer reviews)I used this text for a junior level mass transfer and separtions course at Michigan State University. It's a good book because it covers everything from the basics of formulating mass transfer models to convective mass transfer to distillation, absorbtion and extraction, but I believe the book is better suited to graduate students or chemical engineering professionals. My undergraduate course only made use of the second half of the book, and I didn't feel it had enough design and application material.
