The ordering of the chapters gives to the students the chance to get started learnig first principles of mathematical analysis: Algebra, equations, functions of one variable, differentiation, derivatives, single variable optimization, multivariable optimization, linear algebra & linear programming. The only omission is the absence of eigenvector math.
