(More customer reviews)The Field Guide to Teaching is a must-have for all teachers. Most other books I read try to focus on the academic aspect of education and teaching. Marchesani takes a practitioner-based approach to teaching, which incorporates the real-life experiences that teachers new and old will face. This book also serves a great supplement to veteran teachers who want to refresh themselves on the basics of the American education system. The CD also provides ample curriculum templates and ideas that can benefit all teachers. I highly recommend that anyone interested in education should definitely use this as one of their prime resources.
