(More customer reviews)This book is ideal for an introductory course in Communication Sciences and Disorders. It is highly readable and the case studies presented avoid the dry nature of typical case studies. The book is also comprehensive; it gives a good overview of anatomy, types of disorders, and even touches on Audiological topics. This was the text that we used in my first ever CSD class and introduced me to the field.
It's a great introductory level text. My two favorite things about it are its comprehensiveness and readability.
