This book provided many helpful hints for classroom instruction. The most beneficial section of the book was "Learning to Observe." It has helped to enhance my knowledge of students and decisions I make about next steps in instruction. The twenty literacy lessons also provided examples of appropriate lessons to implement in the classroom. This is a great handbook for each classroom.
