(More customer reviews)"Survival Handbook For The New Chemistry Instructor" was commissioned by the American Chemical Society. It is a life line to science majors who have had very few if any courses on how to teach as well as a life line to education majors who have perhaps had very little real science. Equally important, it is applicable to any science course, not just chemistry. Anyone interested in teaching science will also be interested in Barbara Gastel's "Teaching Science: A Guide For College and Professional School Instructors." It too is beneficial for high school science teachers.
